We dined al fresco at Tres 3 Marches on the Cours Gambetta in Cotignac. An atmosphere of surrounded by 500 year old plus architecture and surrounded by good friends, the food tastes devine. We enjoyed bottles of a local Rose from "Carpe Diem" vineyard, carrot citrus soup, salmon tartare, terrine du maison(house pate) for starters. some enjoyed Poached Cod with Herbs as their main accompanied by a lovely polenta with raisins. The rest had the filet de Canard (duck). A little over-cooked for my liking, but none the less thoroughly enjoyable. Dessert followed with creme brulee, gateau chocolate or tarte caramel, but I opted for the fromage, of course! As darknesS settles in ( after 10 p.m.) we talked and laughed and a good time was had by all. We havent found it very expensive here yet, although Nice is still to come. Looking forward to market day tomorrow.
