Anticipation

Ours bags are packed, my back is waxed and LeeAnn is frantically geting a last night of creeping Facebook before the journey begins! Ziggy jumped into my suitcase at least 3 times while packing tonight and dropped a toy mouse in there as well for delivery to France.

We are off tomorrow for a vacation in the South of France. Leaving Toronto at 5;55 p.m. to Amsterdam via KLM, then to Nice for a noon arrival and then a two hour drive to Cotignac. And then... the good times will roll...wine food, sun, laughs, hitory, culture and the smell of frsh lavender all waiting for us.

Joined by our dear friends from Red Bay, Mary, Derek, Phil, Heather and Barry we will spend a week at Le Champagne Saint Charles, a wonderful charming villa in the lovely village of Cotignac, in the Var in what is described as the Provence Verte. LeeAnn and I will then depart for some time in Nice in the Old Town at the Hotel Suisse.
